Editing day 1
On the first day of editing I had been working with Liam, because editing was a big task. We first had to upload each clip that we wanted on the mac. Choosing which clip we wanted was difficult because we had to go through a lot of the clips and if we saw that there was even the smallest mistake we did not want to use the clip. The process took about about 30 minutes. After that we had to convert the clips so the clips can work on final cut pro, the software we were using. this took another 30 minutes because depending on how the long the clip is means that the converting will be longer.

Learning STINCS
On the day 17 the class was put in their groups to do group work and what the class had to do was to point out what our title sequence about and use STINCS to describe how our title sequence was going to feel. Where it will take place. Using STINCS my group wrote that the setting will be a forest and also we will use a room for the title sequence. Then for Theme we put it as dark and mysterious because the room will make the audience ask questions as whats in the room? Or they will ask who is the person in the room? For the Iconography the props that we will be using a book and a few photos for the title sequence. For the Narrative we will be using distorted music and distorted dialogue. Characters that we will be using is the group members and a couple of other students.
The task made me and my group have a long discussion on how we will make the title sequence and this discussion made us have a final thought and a final plan on how we will make the title sequence.

on the day of the 14th of January we got taught about Saul Bass who does opening sequences in films. Saul Bass has done films such as Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho and the ever famous Martin Scorsese's Good Fellas and many more. the class then got their very own title designer and we had to research the title designer in our groups. the title designer my group had Bob Kurtz. we then had to create a power point about Bob Kurtz. after we finished the power point we had to present the following day.
FOLLOWING DAY
my group was third to present. i believe that my groups presentation was a lot better than the weeks before presentation because with this presentation we had more detail and we had more information. compared to last week, my group and i had majorly improved.

Course Work Talk
on the day Tuesday the 7th of January, i had a media studies lesson. to which the class got told that we have been put in groups to work on our coursework. the class got told that we will be making a title sequence for the coursework, . the groups had to come up with an idea about a film so that everyone will get the jist of what the title sequence will be about. in my group we came up with an idea about a horror. the majority of our group wanted the horror idea so we stack with the idea. the class then got told by the teacher that the following day we will have to present a presentation of our film.
THE FOLLOWING DAY
on this day we had to present and my group were second up, already we knew we didn't do enough so what we did was we improvised more than half of the presentation and it did not work. we got actors wrong and we got facts wrong. but we do not give up. we will improve. and we will impress.
